Fall 2025 Newsletter
President's Report
Dear Ohio CCIM Members,

As we near the holiday season, the Board and I would like to express our gratitude to all Ohio Chapter members and sponsors. This letter will appreciate highlights from the Fall Forum and look forward to our chapter’s remaining education and networking opportunities this year.
At the 2025 Fall Forum in Vancouver, Designees from across the country convened as we furthered the organization’s mission and selected new leadership. During the elections, Brad Waken, CCIM (Oklahoma Chapter) was elected as First Vice President of The CCIM Institute for 2026. We also celebrated the 2026 Inauguration of Adam Palmer, CCIM, SIOR (Florida Chapter) as 2026’s Global President. We are proud to share that Leslie Biskner, CCIM (Ohio Chapter), will serve as a 2027 Presidential Liaison, where she’ll facilitate communication between the committees and the Global President.
Within a backdrop of committee meetings at the forum (many of which included Ohio Chapter members), graduates from the selective Jay W. Levine Leadership Academy, presented their capstone projects. Amongst which, Darrick Klamut, CCIM (Ohio Chapter), and his team, delivered a standout presentation. Their qualitative study, Engaging the Next Generation of Commercial Real Estate Professionals, explored how to better support the next generation of CRE professionals through improved accessibility, financial resources, and mentorship.
For all who were able to attend the forum, thank you. Having strong Ohio representation at these Forums is essential to our chapter’s ongoing success.
