President's Report
One of the highlights of the quarter was our Built in Ohio: An Ohio CCIM Chapter Symposium, held August 13 at The Estate at New Albany. The event brought together commercial real estate professionals from across the Country for meaningful conversations about development, capital, investment, financing, and the opportunities shaping the future of our state.
The morning reminded us of something that has always been at the heart of CCIM: commercial real estate is built on relationships. The knowledge shared by our speakers and panelists, the connections made throughout the morning, and the candid conversations about the deals that are getting done across Ohio made this a truly memorable event.
We were especially honored to welcome Ryan Miller, co-founder of the 2nd and 7 Foundation, as our keynote speaker. Ryan shared his experiences in leadership, teamwork, perseverance, and giving back—messages that extend well beyond commercial real estate. The 2nd and 7 Foundation's commitment to promoting childhood literacy is an inspiring example of how we can use our success and influence to make a meaningful difference in the communities we serve.
As an organization, we are proud to support the 2nd and 7 Foundation and its mission to encourage children to become lifelong readers and leaders. Their work demonstrates the power of investing in the next generation, and we are grateful for the opportunity to support such an impactful organization.

Community Service
The CCIM Ohio Chapter was proud to make a $1,000 donation to the 2nd & 7 Foundation, supporting its mission of providing free books and positive role models to children in need. Founded in 1999 by former Ohio State football players Ryan Miller, Luke Fickell, and Mike Vrabel, 2nd & 7 now engages student-athletes in reading programs across the country and has distributed more than one million books. We are especially grateful to Ryan Miller, a longtime supporter of our chapter, for his continued commitment to this meaningful work and the positive impact it has on children and communities nationwide.

The CCIM Ohio Chapter is honored to sponsor the inauguration of Andie Edmonds, CCIM, as the 2027 Global President of the CCIM Institute at the Fall Forum in Los Angeles. We are also proud that Ohio Chapter Board member Leslie Biskner, CCIM, will serve as one of Andie’s Presidential Liaisons, representing Ohio on her leadership team. In addition, board members Anthony Maronitis, CCIM, and Darrick Klamut, CCIM, have been appointed to National Committees. These achievements are a tremendous honor for our chapter and state, and we look forward to supporting Andie’s leadership and vision for the Institute.
Recent Events
The Ohio CCIM Chapter, CREW Greater Cincinnati and the Ohio Commercial Real Estate Exchangers (OCREE) held a networking mixer at MadTree Oakley Taproom in Cincinnati. This informal gathering provided a wonderful opportunity for members of all three organizations to connect, share insights, and build new professional relationships.
In August our chapter held Built in Ohio: An Ohio CCIM Chapter Symposium. To everyone involved, thank you for helping make the event such a success.
Education Corner
Look for at least one training session before the end of the year focusing on the newly revamped Intellisite. We are also already hard at work on the 2027 education schedule, planning a CI 101 in the spring and a CI 104 in the fall. Keep on the lookout for details on all!
