President's Report
Dear Ohio CCIM Members,
It’s an honor to serve as your 2025 Chapter President alongside such a passionate and mission-driven board. Our shared commitment to education, networking, and leadership continues to position Ohio as one of the most active chapters in the country. From seasoned professionals advocating for policies on Capitol Hill to our six new designees that earned their CCIM Pin this Spring, your contributions reflect the strength and reach of our members.
Earlier this year, many of us gathered in Miami for the CCIM Spring Forum, where national trends like AI integration, adaptive reuse, and capital market volatility took center stage. This key event has historically focused on the governance of the CCIM Institute but now has an expanding emphasis on education and networking. Several Ohio Chapter members proudly serve on national panels and boards representing our chapter at the Institute level.
It was an energizing few days that reminded us how important it is to stay ahead of change, and how powerful it is to learn alongside professionals who understand the unique challenges and opportunities we face in today’s market.
As we move into the second half of 2025, there are two key events I encourage you to consider:
- C5 + CCIM Global Summit - Chicago (Sept 16–18): This premier industry event blends education, networking, and dealmaking. Expect dynamic conversations around CRE investment, innovation, and strategy, with a strong CCIM presence throughout.
- Fall Forum - Vancouver (Oct 5–9): A chance to shape the direction of the Institute while engaging with high-impact networking events and educational sessions.
Closer to home, our chapter continues to focus on delivering value through our educational, and networking programming. Whether a member is on their path to the pin, or living with it, the chapter remains a resource to support their professional journey.

Thank you to all the members, sponsors, and guests for such a strong turnout to the Clippers game in June. We’re excited to see the event continue to grow and establish itself as one of our signature meetings. I look forward to connecting with many of you at upcoming events and celebrating the continued success of our Ohio CCIM community.

Recent Events
Events in 2025 include a Happy Hour following the CI-103 class at Mainline Bar & Courtyard in Columbus, the annual Day at the Ballpark cheering on the Columbus Clippers at Huntington Field on the Pepsi Party Deck, Legislative Update presented by Michael Sikora, The Spring Forum in Miami, Happy Hour in Cincinnati and Chapter Officer Training in Minneapolis.
